This thread is for teaching aids and ideas. Please feel free to contribute links, excerpts and/or notes that could prove enlightening to us music teachers, anything from teaching strategies to potential group lesson activities.
Games for Music Reading could be a good one to order. I'm not sure about the other two. I only ended up with 1 or 2 pages from each that I made copies of. There are probably other books out there with similar material that would be more useful to everyone than those. If anyone else is interested in looking at them, I could bring my friend's copies of those books to Hill with me.
Why don't you wait until we schedule a staff meeting, which, hopefully, we'll do today? Everyone might have more time to peruse the books, if that works OK for you.
Seems like a cool site and has already given me some good ideas. I've also seen some lesson ideas for group percussion and guitar classes, although I haven't inspected them too closely yet. It is worth checking out.
